 Mitra was Lara's live-action actress. Mitra was in the role as Lara Croft as Mitra. Angelina Jolie was cast in the role of Angelina Jolie in the Tomb Raider movies (2001-2003). Mitra was no. 46 in Maxim Hot 100 Women of 2001. She was Christopher Lambert's love-interest in Beowulf. Her first big role was as Scott Wolf's unintentional love interest on Party of Five. In the year 2000, Mitra had a small part in the film Hollow Man as a neighbour who is sexually assaulted by Kevin Bacon's character. Mitra played the main role in the film as Alejandra Klein in Gideon's Crossing's Medical Drama. Then, Mitra had roles in Ali G Indahouse's Sweet Home Alabama, Stuck on You, and also a leading role in Highwaymen, Spartacus, and in the film "The Practice". Mitra was Tara Wilson's last appearance on The Practice. She continued this role in Boston Legal, but she quit before the end of season two. Mitra was in the third season's Kit McGraw role on Nip/Tuck in 2005. Mitra was then cast in Skinwalkers and The Number 23 as well as Shooter. Mitra also starred as Major Eden Sinclair in 2008's science fiction/action movie Doomsday. Mitra, who can be mistakenly identified as Caryn Parkerson in certain databases she made her debut on Underworld Rise of the Lycans in 2009. In 2009 she played the character of Sonja as the fierce vampire older Viktor. While filming, she grew attracted to her vampire fangs even refusing to remove them when they couldn't be observed. "I put those fangs in the first day. I thought it was strange to have them there. They were a part of the filming process along with all of my dialog. She also appeared in three episodes of Stargate Universe.
