Nicky Whelan
Nicky Whelan, born 10 May 1980 in the Australian state of Victoria, is an actress and model. She was first known as Pepper Steiger in Australia. The role she played in the 100 episodes of the soap drama Neighbors broadcasted between 2006 and 2007 helped make her a household name in Australia. Her debut project to be a part of Hollywood was a choral comedy called Hollywood & Wine in which she played a young actress that is newly arrived in Hollywood. In the ninth season Scrubs she played Maya who plays a attractive medical student. The show is then abruptly stopped. In the next episode, she is shooting for a Farrelly brother comedy Good to shoot featuring the Jason Sudeikis Owen Wilson tandem. This is followed by appearances in series films and B series. It was in 2013 that she started to get noticed more widely. After appearing in six episodes on the drama about detectives Franklin and Bash and landing her first role as a regular in the web-series Chosen starring Milo Ventimiglia, the actress was offered a variety of roles.
